Malcolm "Mike" Brooks, Jr.

Malcolm Logan “Mike” Brooks, Jr., 68, of St. George, GA passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home following a lengthy illness.  He was born April 18, 1951 in Gordon, GA.  He earned his BS in Zoology from Clemson Unversity.  Mr. Brooks retired from the Georgia DNR following over 30 years of service in 2003.

He was preceded in death by his father:  Malcolm Logan Brooks, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years:  JoAnn Harvey Brooks, a daughter:  Arlene Crews; 2-grandchildren:  Mika Shae Stamps and Ernest Duane Stamps, Jr; his mother:  Catherine Pittman Brooks and a brother:  Malcolm Andrew Brooks.

The family will receive friends Friday June 28 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 AM at Boones Creek Cemetery in St. George with Rev. James Conner officiating.
