Dawn Renee Woods McCullough, 55, of Woodbine, GA passed away January 3, 2020 at her residence.  She was born November 8, 1964 in Hawkinsville, GA.  She received her bachelors degree from Georgia Southwestern University and her Masters in Early Childhood Education from Troy University.  She taught at St. Mary’s Elementary, Woodbine Elementary, Mary Lou Gross Elementary and Folkston Elementary Schools.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbine.

She is preceded in death by her father:  George Piney Woods, V, and Mother-In-Law:  Mary Jean McCullough.

She is survived by her husband of 21years:  John McCullough; her children:  Dylan (Kadie Surrency) Brown and Caleigh McCullough; her mother and step-dad:  Peggy and Jimmy Martin; Father-In-Law:  Rev. Gene McCullough;  a sister:  Cindy Woods Vardeman; a brother:  George Piney Woods, VI; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 7 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Woodbine with Rev. Bill Alderman officiating.  Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
