Anna Lou Nelson Crews, 74, of St. George, GA peacefully entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 26 with her family by her side.  She was born April 19, 1946 in Defuniak Springs, FL to the late Kinsey and Dasey Yuan Nelson.  She retired from Northeast Florida State Hospital after 30 years of service.  Anna’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family, cooking for all her “babies”, canning, sewing, and visiting the mountains.  She always put others before herself and was a strong and courageous woman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother:  Bernie Nelson; 2-sisters:  Lunette Stevenson and Francis Nelson.

She is survived by her children:  Susie (Buddy) Hodges, Cheryl Hicks, Dale (Rachelle) Crews, Tammy Fitchett, Morris Reynolds, Peanut (Kathy) Rhoden and Meranda (Daniel) Cambal; 4-sisters:  Myrtice (Melvin) Lane, Judy Pittman, Janice (Alvin) James, Kim (John) Smith; 3-brothers:  Ernest (Ester) Nelson, Glen (Pam) Nelson, Pete (Leann) Nelson; grandchildren:  Sabrina (Nick) Crosby, Doug (Rachel) Hodges, Christina (Jason) Powell, Trace (April) Reynolds, Candace (Eric) Robinson, Emily Crews, Ryan Taylor, Elizabeth Crews, Breana (Brad) Boatright, Hannah (James) Cochran, Savannah (Bill) Cheatham, Glen Fitchett, Bill Rhoden, Kelsey Rhoden, Jessica (Travis) Buchanan, Grady (Kayla) Harrison, Morgan Cambal and Ashton Cambal; great grandkids:  Emma, Lily, Niki and Lacy Crosby, Daisy and Georgia Hodges, Thomas (Paige), Hunter, Sarah Powell, Maddox Reynolds, Bentley Robinson, Londyn Fayth Crews, Oakleigh Dale Taylor, Baylee and Bristol Boatright, Rhett Crawford, Logan and Ragean Hendrix, Kelsi Cochran, Sawyer Cheatham, Kellen Fitchett, Carson Martin, Quincey Rhoden, Kaylee and Jack Buchanan; great great grandchildren:  Harley and Anna Powell.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
