Bro. Denny was a great man of God, who loved his church and his family. He was my brother,s.j.'s friend (best friend) for years. I am so glad God gave me the privilege to know and love this man. You don't meet very many people like this man, who would do anything his power to help you in any way. As a deacon he was number one. He will be missed, but I can hear now saying,"w.h. you haven't straighten ginger yet?". Love to all the family.

Danny was a classmate and very good friend to me. I am so sorry to hear this. The last time I saw him was at our 65th year class reunion. I am so sorry that I am out of town and cannot attend the funeral. Fay and all. Your family please know I am thinking about you. I never had a better classmate than Danny. You were both great friends to my family and me, when you lived in St Marys.

To my sincerest friends of many years ago, Faye, Ricky, Bobby, Lisa & Celeste ~ So sorry I was unable to attend either the visitation or funeral for dear friend Danny. I remember all of you so fondly & would have made every effort to be at one of them, but my husband had just had knee replacement surgery & I could not leave him alone. Want you all to know that you are in my thoughts & prayers, and so glad I saw the two of you, Faye, at Dot Morgan's funeral. Had been a very long time. Please accept my condolences for your great loss and we will see each other one day. Most sincerely, Barbara
